Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and account credentials when you register for Beacon. We also automatically collect technical data sent by the Beacon SDK installed on your applications, including JavaScript error events, stack traces, browser metadata, and any user context you explicitly attach via Beacon.setUser(). We do not collect this data without your intentional SDK integration.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your account information to authenticate you, send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts), and communicate important service updates. Error event data you ingest is used solely to power your Beacon dashboard — we do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Aggregate, anonymized usage statistics may be used to improve the platform.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers hosted in the United States. We implement industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Beacon dashboard uses session cookies (via Laravel Sanctum) strictly for authentication — no cross-site tracking or advertising cookies. The Beacon SDK itself is cookie-free by default; session continuity for analytics uses sessionStorage only. This marketing site does not use tracking pixels or behavioral analytics tools.
5. Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate Beacon, including cloud infrastructure providers and transactional email services. These vendors are contractually obligated to handle your data only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable law. We do not integrate with advertising networks or data brokers.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Workspace owners can delete their workspace and all associated data from within the dashboard. If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
